Call of attention from Genoa for the comb: Manueco will call Sémper after asking him for explanations

The popular campaign spokesman has assured that he has not had an "opportunity" to speak with the president of the Board and that he hopes that he "explains it better"

The comb carried out by the president of the Junta, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, in plenary session of the Cortes this week, when the socialist attorney Rosa Rubio was speaking, has once again put the Community in the national media focus and has forced the management of the PP to pronounce.

The spokesman for the campaign for the popular municipal elections in May, Borja Sémper, representative of the moderate wing of the party, has been forceful this Friday. "I don't do combs, the one who would have to explain is him," he assured. Sémper has specified that he has not spoken with the president of the Board but that, after seeing the images, he seems to him "a comb".

"I trust that he explains it better. I do not know in what context it occurred but I do not do combs and I consider that they should not be done," the popular spokesperson has settled. Sémper's calls to attention to the Government of Castilla y León between PP and Vox have been common since he took over as spokesman, especially with regard to the anti-abortion protocol, against which he harshly charged.

The president of the PP of Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has assured in Burgos after words by Sémper that he will "personally call" the campaign spokesman and deputy secretary of Culture and Open Society of the PP, Borja Sémper, and "will clarify the matter with him " in relation to the gesture of the comb that he made when he left the plenary session of the Cortes when the socialist attorney Rosa Rubio was intervening.

Fernández Mañueco, during his visit to the capital of Burgos to support the candidacy of Cristina Ayala, to questions from journalists about Sémper's statement that he has not had the opportunity to speak with the regional president, but that he has rejected this type of of gestures, he pointed out: "Regarding this matter and the pertinent explanations, I don't know if Borja Sémper had the opportunity to listen to them, but well, I will call him personally and speak and clarify the matter with him."

In an interview this morning, Sémper stressed that he does not make "combs" and therefore considered that "they should not be done", to show his confidence that the president of the Board, as the author of this gesture, "explains himself better ".

Likewise, given the insistence of questions about whether he would be willing to apologize, the president of the PP in Castilla y León declared: "I am sorry that they felt offended" and added that "I already said it yesterday: one cannot offend someone from behind." "No, I don't have more to say," he concluded.
